A new logo for myself.

I am a DOP (Cameraman) working in the film and commercials industry in UK (also work world wide). I want the logo to be contemporary and stylish, modern but simplistic and have a graphical nature. I would like the logo to have a multi layer character to it, I wouldn't be apposed to a little humour or softness incorporated into the logo. I want to letters to interact with each other and blend. I have attached some examples of what I am interested in below.

It needs to include my name (Joe Douglas) and the words "Director of Photography". My website (www.joedouglasdop.com) has my current logo on it, this new logo needs to be far more interesting and well designed than this.
