It’s a brand to sell honey and other spices hand collected by indigenous hill people of the north east provinces of India. We intend to sell the products both offline and online and to urban consumers who are looking for authentic , quality product and willing to pay a premium for the social value that the product embodies. The products are grown in the hill slopes of Meghalaya, usually in small landlots and subsistence farmers, with rarely any use of chemical and fertilizers. We contract grow and/ or collect directly from these farmers, and business itself is owned by a female from the same ethnic group. The packaging and branding will be done in the hill urban center of Shillong and shipped to the metropolitan areas of India and in future, to global markets.
