The Doodle Standard Logo for dog info website

Hier ist was The Doodle Standard suchte für sein logo design.

This logo will be used for a business involved in breeding doodles. It will be front and center on a website where I envision I will create an old timey newspaper look (hence, "standard") but with some modern edge to it. The other meaning to the title is intended to convey the idea of standards that dog breeders adhere to be considered in conformation within a particular breed. There is also some irony to it as doodles are simply treated as mixed breed dogs by any of the prestigious kennel clubs and so are not considered to technically have standards.
I am including a couple of pictures of a Doodle, some as a young puppy and some as an adult as I was thinking of using the head in the logo somehow, not as a picture but maybe as if it was hand drawn in ink. One change would be to have the hair appear to be falling outside of the face so you can see the eyes. I was also thinking a top hat or derby hat might look kind of cute, especially on the older longer haired version, maybe… Mehr lesen
