Wedding logo for Somm and Knight

We are seeking a logo for our wedding: the bride is Somm and the groom is Knight. We first got along when we played chess together so it would be great to incorporate elements of chess into the design. We have been together for a long time and want the logo to symbolize our wisdom, devotion, and longevity. We are open to suggestions for representing these qualities through plants, animals, or mythical creatures.

The logo should feature the letters S and K in a modern and subtle way. We would like the design to work in a shirt-friendly color and shiny gold, with a preference for bright orange if a monochrome option is possible.

When viewed from afar, the S and K should be visible in the design. Upon closer inspection, there should be additional features and subtle incorporations of other objects.
