UPDATE: A lot of you are making a lot of similar, uninspired choices like putting a "brain" in there to represent "knowledge." Way too obvious and boring and not what I'm looking for. Avoid brains, lightbulbs and books unless you are REALLY creative about it. I don't like any of those ideas. Also, please don't do the "stylized E" thing that so many of you always do... I hate that. BE CREATIVE and outside the box.

I've started a new Substack, which is a publication and newsletter service as I'm sure you already know. The billing on the page, which is called "Pretense of Knowledge," is that it will explore the complexities of politics, economics, demographics, history, geopolitics, and culture.

It is intended to be a place where thoughtful, in-depth writing will happen that examines things happening in the world around us. As the subjects I listed probably make clear, the content will be focused on what is happening in current events, with a fair amount of history, … Mehr lesen
