Classical Ballet & Contemporary Dance School

I need a Logo for a new dance school. It is in New Zealand and will offer Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance classes from beginner to pre-professional level. I would like the logo to convey a Smart, Professional School without any of the 'normal' pointe shoes, frilly things, or 'Arabesque' type figures so often seen for ballet schools.
I'd prefer it to be contemporary & timeless in look, maybe text only, although if the right design incorporated some 'artistic brush strokes' would consider this too.
Logo will be on website, fliers etc, and there is a possibility that the logo/text will later be printed onto T-shirts as well. Colours that would work for me are Burgundy/maroon/dark red, Black, shades of Grey & of course white. The text to be included is the name of the business, KMS Dance studio with 'Dance' being most important to stand out ie CAPS or different colour, then KMS, then 'studio' which could be 'handwritten' style text....
