ABIL is a 30 year old non-profit organization. It serves the needs of people with disabilities in the state of Arizona (USA). It is one of the largest of over 500 independent living centers in the country. ABIL advocates personal responsibility – by, and for, people with disabilities – as a means to independence.
ABIL provides many services to a diverse community. This includes employment, sports, recreation, leisure, training and advocacy. ABIL’s existing logo was designed to portray the independence a person with a disability can achieve.
ABIL seeks a new logo that is much more simple. The logo need not show an individual in a wheelchair but we seek something that the community recognizes and relates to people with disabilities. We are looking for a design that portrays our l…
