After switching to a Paleo diet and seeing/feeling the benefits, we figured, "why not our pets?" Seeing that this is a niche for us to fill in the emerging Paleo products market, we decided to start with dog-centric products with the possible expansion into cat centered products later.

Our logos need to be clean and relatively simple. They need to be usable in both color and black/white printing.

We've also found that we're looking for a character to help represent us. It doesn't necessarily need to be a fully formed character, silhouettes are acceptable.

We prefer a "softer" look to the logos, more of a sketched or comic book sort of style rather than a sanitized, Apple-like derivative.

As for colors, perfectly-ripened and wholesome fruit/vegetable hues and normal dog colors (red-brown, black, grey, white) are preferred.

Regarding the hunt part, we're looking for a more stylized and sanitized reference to prehistoric hunting.
