Logo needed for Sports App

I'm after a logo for a new iPhone application in development called "Simply Sport". The app is to be a Sports News Aggregator, similar to the "Team Stream" app. Myself and the team have a logo were working with at the moment however we're not completely sold on it and would like to see what the community can create...

I'll attach a photo of the logo we're working with to give you a feel of the direction we're heading. I'm quite happy with the colours at the moment I just feel there are better logos to be had
