Logo Design for an Analytics Company in South Africa

Welcome to my Company Logo Design Project. My name is Megan and I've recently started my own Analytics and Statistics Company in South Africa - ixio analytics (www.ixio.co.za). While my statistical skills are top notch, my design and creativity ones are lacking, which is why I'm posting this - I desperately need your design skills!

I'd like a company logo that represents what ixio is about. My background is in Evolutionary Biology (numbers, decision trees, statistics, science, biology) and I'm using these skills to help businesses understand their customers and market effectively to them. My clients include banks, marketing companies and the largest subscription-based television company in South Africa.
