Event planner needs timeless yet modern logo for business

I need a logo for my event planning business based in California, USA. I help people and companies put together fun and timeless events. My business name explains how I fell into this business. By "pure serendipity" of life I found my niche. I help not only straight couples and families, but I also help the LGBT community as well. I am very passionate of my work. I love working with people and allowing my imagination create and design beautiful events. I not only plan and coordinate events, I also design them. I am young but not new to this industry. I would like my logo to represent my company as a professional and modern business. I like the colors black and gold but I am open to other colors.
