Cycling Community Logo

Hier ist was areté cycling suchte für sein logo design.

Our vision is to bring together the road cycling community, from novices to professionals. Initially this will be via an online only presence which may expand to a physical site in the future.

The brand name is areté cycling (note the lower case and accented é ). In ancient Greek ‘Areté’ is written as ??et? and it means ‘excellence of any kind’ or ‘being the best you can be’.

We are looking for a logo suite that:

Supports the meaning of the word ‘areté’
Captures the nostalgic, classic and retro nature of cycling
Reflects the romance and tradition of cycling from classics such as the Tour de France and Giro ‘d Italia’
Can be used vertically (e.g. for cycling apparel) and horizontally (e.g. for a building facade)
Enables the use of the single word areté and other times areté cycling.
DOES NOT imitate existing brands
Is highly professional and will not date.
