Blackrose Press is a publisher of speculative fiction (the science fiction, fantasy, horror, weird, and bizarro genres, to name a few) written by people of color. We are interested in, but not wedded to, a logo that contains our initials. We are looking for a logo as imaginative and colorful as the genres we publish. NO ROSES, PLEASE!

Since there is a dearth of works by people of color in mainstream speculative fiction, BP's focus will be to publish works written by people of color. BP's target market are speculative fiction readers from 12+ to 65+. We are looking for something on the simpler side, that, though in color, can be easily rendered in B/W (for print editions). It must also be able to expand or shrink without losing definition, especially on the printed page. We want to communicate to our readers that they are in for a "colorful" and different experience in speculative fiction. Mehr lesen
