Corporate Band Logo

Hi, rebranding a corporate/function/wedding band to a new name" The Cooper Street Band". Looking for a logo that might have a street sign design, maybe a jazz, new orleans, or tim winton's cloudstreet 40's vibe to it. Other options are spray/stencil, like you see on a road case, or combination of these. What I don't want is something that looks like it should be on the front of a gift shop in the mountains please.
Cooper Street Band are a high end function band that do corporate events, weddings, end of year dinners for large companies, industry awards, elite sporting teams awards events, etc. Musicians wear suit no tie, female singer in evening dress or elegant party dress.
This logo will be used on the upcoming website, and for printed brochures and business cards. Likely a black and white theme, with similar palette colours like darker reds or burgundy, royal, etc if required. No pastel etc. Elegant and professional, not tacky.
