Logo for Clean energy consulting firm in Vancouver, BC

I need a logo for my new company based in Vancouver, BC. We are in R&D of clean energy technologies: providing technical & business intelligent research, management of R&D program and technical consulting. I'd like to see design that use dark blue, and silver colour with a splash of red for accent (if needed). With wording "Pacific Rim Research" built into the logo. I'm open to soft & smooth style as well as strong and rigid.
