Tattoo inspired by my time in Nashville

I'd like a minimalist and fine line tattoo design to represent my time in Nashville. I've lived there for 3 years now. I got to "spread my wings" for the first time and became fully financially responsible for myself and completely on my own. I put up healthy barriers to those trying to keep me back. I feel very proud of myself and have tried so many new things. But every day being in Nash, it's felt like road block after road block. I don't like the people I've met and it just feels like I've been punched in the face every few days by someone new or something new. While simultaneously, it's been such an amazing and pivotal move in the right direction.
I'd like a small tattoo that represents that. I am a female and would like it to be soft but no animals, butterflies, flowers, super feminine stuff like that. Something funny but also mature.
