Tattoo design - represent the warrior beast inside the peaceful man

I am a combat veteran. I want something that represents the peaceful warrior. Behind /beneath the peaceful exterior there is a beast (prefer wolf) ready to come out. Most of my art is just black line. A splash of color, something bold yet not overwhelming. I want it to show how there is a balance between the calm people see that the potential for a raging destructive force if provoked. I want it to make people think about the battle waging inside us that cannot be see by looking at the exterior of a person. There is a warrior inside us and he is holding back from coming out because the peaceful man holds him at bay. Maybe something with the meditating man with the mystical beast in the background.
