logo for merchandise - t shirt/ hoodie

Hier ist was ein Geschäft in New Zealand für sein t-shirt design vorgenommen hatte.

Brief:
I need a design for t-shirts and hoodies incorporating the words 'ngati pahauwera' (will be on front). Also on front will be an image/logo that gives a sense of "mountains, forest, river to sea". If you scroll through the photos in the homepage of the website (ngatipahauwera.co.nz) - you can get a sense of what is important to this group of people. the area is remote, nature, river, family, fishing. The design should be something that instils pride and shows interconnectedness/family relationships. They are maori (indigenous nz) so can incorporate design similar to header of webpage.
My image of the logo would have mountain in background, river wrapping around it, snaking to ocean (not a side view I.e. Mountain on left- ocean on right) more a middle view.
