Wordpress Design Daddy University Project

Hier ist was Boomtown Internet Group suchte für sein Wordpress design.

Need a homepage design for a wordpress site that is based around becoming a better Dad. The sitemap file and logo file are attached. Navigation should be a combination of horizontal and vertical because the sitemap is extensive. I think the Father's conference, Daddy daughter dance and Essay contest would like nice if they were highlighted in their own rounded boxes at the bottom of the home page perhaps. New design needs to be attention grabbing, colorful but not over the top or too flashy either. I would like the background to be pictures and/or transparent words(similar to this site http://fathers.com/). Need a banner image which will be a slider and I need text overlay at the bottom of each image. I like rounded boxes like how this site showcases the news and events sections - http://www.wm.edu/.
