Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

We need a logo for an online luxury good company called BigTicket. The company provides an online marketplace for sellers and buyers of luxury goods and those are typically sold at discounted prices. Think eBay for Ferraris.

We want to communicate that our platform is a serious, reliable and smart brand with a touch of miracle/WOW/"dreams come true"/"what a great deal" effect. In terms of positioning the closest brands I could imagine are Kuoni, Virgin Atlantic, Apple, Victoria's Secret - think affordable luxury (please do not copy their logos).

We are quite keen on an idea of a special character representing the platform (reliable, trusted, smart and funny), call him Mr. Big Ticket. Having said that we are also open to any other ideas and are very keen to explore them with you.

If it is still rather ambiguous I would be happy to clarify any of your questions during the discussion process.

Re: ideas.  As mentioned before, we like an idea of special character Mr. BigTicket and would like to encourage you to explore it. One particular inspiration is coming from Golden Age of Hollywood and the look of gentlemen in this era. To be specific I provide below links to a few images.

This character with a top hat and a cane can be styled and incorporated into a logo in many ways, e.g as "i" letter in word Big, attached to a logo, stand or sit on it, lean towards a logo etc. The only limit is your imagination.

We would love to see other ideas as well.
