T-Shirt-Design Kurzbeschreibung
I need a t-shirt design that targets the men in the US oil fields. The design will be humorous and play on the concepts that only oil men understand. Since you are a designer and not and oil man - I recognize the subtle challenge to making this shirt and I appreciate your effort. Thanks in advance.
The name of this project is "Blow Out Preventer". The BOP is a very important piece of equipment on an oil rig that stops it from blowing up! In an oil well there are gas bubbles that, if not controlled, can quickly rise to the surface and blow the top off of it. The BOP controls those bubbles. It is a massive piece of equipment and it is at the center of the drilling operation.
In this design we are merely playing on the words and twisting them into a sexual connotation. Not to put to fine a point on it (but I recognize that we may potentially have a language barrier between us so I will really spell this one out) but the design should make it clear that what we 'really' mean by Blow Out Preventer is 'orgasm stopper'. Thus, you are free to choose between two designs for the same concept.
1. A crying baby's face that has the words "Blow Out Preventer" around it. The image of the baby's face should not be cartoonish. On the other hand, it should not be a photo either. I would like your artistic rendering that might appeal with the demographic of 18 - 28 year old males.
2. The universally recognized foil condom wrapper that has the caption "Blow out preventer" This condom 'could' have a silhouette of an actual blow out preventer on it. It should not be photo-real - I am looking for the art style utilized by the company Some ECards. I'll upload a sample - its of a guy with a martini. I know the guy with the martini has NOTHING to do with a baby's crying face but the art style is right.
