Logo-Design Kurzbeschreibung

Design a logo incorporating the name of the business 'DP Marine & Caravan Repairs'. Looking for something a little abstract that reflects boating & caravans. The business is primarily mechanical with small engine repairs and bodywork repairs to caravans. The 'DP' should be prominent with the 'Marine & Caravan Repairs' as secondary text. Some type of graphical element to represent this can be used, doesn't have to be just text, but text must be included. Most colours can be applied, but do not use red. Needs to be bold as will be used for signage primarily, maybe for stationery later. Needs to be supplied as CMYK vector file. I have attached previous logo for the same business that I designed 6 years ago as the example, but different ideas are preferred. Any more info needed please ask!
