Hi designers, I''ve reviewed more designs and thought I''d share some more feedback to help you refine your creative idea and be more impactful in front of the judges.

Many of you are choosing to target the behaviour  - drinking to get drunk  - but if you want your design to stand out from the rest, I encourage you to target other themes (see below) and to then think about the elements that will best express the concept - from choice of typeface to imagery (photography or illustration) and how this is laid out on the page.

The campaign is not about ending drinking but about targeting young men who drink excessively and are therefore more likely to get into brawls / fights.

Option - The poster should target that moment when a young man is drunk enough that he is easily agitated and will react to provocation with an open fist instead of walking away.

Option - Focus on the regret and shame the perpetrator might feel about their actions and the spectre of appearing in court and being sentenced to a jail term.

Designs that employ original and clever use of imagery - and a sense of humour - will be highly regarded.

Cheers

Hi Jo,

The job description is not lucid, specifically relating to the content and imagery within the poster. It is clear enough that young males who drink to excess, between the ages specified and who engage in anti-social behaviour are the target.market.

However, the scope of anti-social behaviour identified with this social group is extremely broad, from knifings, to assault of both females and males, to glassing, to bashing, one-punching, to rape and manslaughter. Nevertheless, am I mistaken in detecting an underlying rejection of any posters depicting the more violent crimes, particularly crimes involving the assault of women? Is that correct or not ???, i.e. that this campaign is intended to target petty brawls between blokes only and not the more serious criminal offences although also alcohol fuelled?

Further is the stipulation to " ... not use images of women as victims of assault." ... simply iterating the necessity to avoid depicting faces that could be recognisable to the public within any images, particularly in the portrayal of female assault victims OR is the intent to simply specifically rule out of the brief any content which depicts females as assault victims altogether? If the intention is the latter, then it needs to be stated without any ambiguity.

Appreciate your time.
