COLOURS:
- Not keen on yellows, oranges, or pink (unless pink is done in a masculine way rather than feminine).
- I like blue but is used too frequently with web companies, so use only if alongside a second colour that makes it feel unique.
- perhaps purple

Hunchproof
what is the reason behind selecting this name for your business...kindly let me know so that I can use my creativity more effectively :) Omee

Hi Omee,
Thank you for the question. Here is some of the thinking for selecting the name "hunchproof":
1) "hunch" means intuition, having mysterious insight or knowledge that someone else doesn''t (sometimes correctly, sometimes incorrectly).
2) Our users are creative people who frequently work on an intuitive level (sometimes correctly, sometimes incorrectly).
3) Our startup will help creative people to gain insight and knowledge.
4) Our starup has tools to help gain "proof" about their hunches, to prove their intuition is right, or to give them knowledge when their intuition is wrong so that they can correct it.
5) "proof" can also refer to a "proof of concept", when someone tests an idea or hypothesis to see if it is correct. We help creative people test their proof of concept.
More definitions of "proof" that are relevant to our startup:
- evidence that establishes or helps to establish the truth, validity, quality, etc., of something
- a sequence of steps or statements that establishes the truth of a proposition
- the act of testing the truth of something (esp in the phrase put to the proof)
- Convincing or persuasive demonstration
Equally, other names we liked were not available for domain registration, so chose the best of what was available. I wanted a name that was unique, easy to say and remember, had a bit of character, had energy, was unlike the competitors, distinctive, would look good, sound good, and be fairly human, approachable, embody our brand values - not be corporate or bland.

Hi Hunchproof,
I notice that you give for example a lot of logos with creatures and animals...
Is that something you would like to see as your design, or is it just a execution style that you like.

Hi MDS,
Thanks for the question. I just picked logos that I like because they seem unique, creative, personable, good at conveying the brand in the design, and I guess it turned out that a number of them have animals or creatures in them.
I don''t need an animal or creature in my logo, however am open to having one if it meets the criteria of the brief.
