We - IZrecords.com - need cover art for the digital45 release of a song called "Down Love's Highway."

This cover art illustration will be used, primarily,
- on the "IZZABELLA & IZsongworks" page on Amazon's mp3 store (http://www.amazon.com/IZZABELLA-and-IZsongworks/e/B007V9NLCM),
- on the "IZZABELLA" page of kobobooks.com (http://www.kobobooks.com/search/search.html?q=izzabella), and
- on our website (http://www.izrecords.com).

The result must - these are Amazon's specs for mp3 releases' cover art - be a JPEG, 1448 x 1448 pixels in size. But we'd also, if possible, welcome a PSD copy with layers etc.

This illustration project is, essentially, about illustrating a song in a way that is evocative of the song - and so attractively so that people who see this wonderful illustration&design work just can't resist...and click to listen... :)

In sum, this project is open to any and all illustration&design ideas that would serve this digital45 cover art purpose.

Dear Designers - 


As this...well, for us, third experiment in crowdsourcing cover art winds down, we'd like to express our sincerest thanks to all of you who participated.  The designs were all very good - thoughtful and very professionally executed.

We might convey in this connection - in case it's of interest to you - that this is the third time we've tried crowdsourcing cover art, the first time with designcrowd's principal U.S.-based competitor and the second time with designcrowd's principal EU based competitior.

This is how our very limited experience with the three compares:

The first (crowdspring) worked great for us.  Out cover art project received a huge number of designs, most of them not very good however - seemed to be a lot of well-intentioned photoshop hobbyists just launching for the practice here.  However, among the better designers, there was one who really got it , and she worked with us 'way beyond the expected to provide a great result.

The second (designclick) - just didn't work out so well - in part we may not have explained what we do (digital45s) and what wanted clearly, in part the designers who submitted may have been overly imbued with a print advertising sensibility - but even though the designs were all very polished, none of them really jumped out at us as advantageously usable for our purposes.

And our third experience has been with you here on designcrowd - which looks like it's also going to work out great, again thanks to one designer in particular who not only came up with something that has that "high-clickability" factor in our estimation but who also showed extraordinary commitment to our project and to working with us.  All the designs submitted  were very good indeed, though there were relatively few of them, which is good in that quality is better than quantity.
