Please help! "The Auction Partner" needs a logo design.

If you’ve ever been to a fundraising gala that has a silent auction component, you will understand what my company does. Basically, we check in guests, swipe their credit cards, give them bid numbers, enter winning bids and check out guests at the end of the night. I supply the computers, the software training, the professionals, etc. However, I don’t really want my logo tied to what I do (-------------I DO NOT want a gavel, a handshake, or a computer or anything like that). I want an elegant/yet contemporary logo, as it will be the centerpiece of my simple website (which is next on the agenda!). The logo will go on a solid colored background (or I think it's called a gradient background) - simple, clean, elegant - and that's all my website will have on the home page - except a menu. What I do NOT like: logos that are hard squares or circles - like Starbucks, LEGO with the red square, etc. I am thinking I want a logo with the company name embedded into the picture somehow - or… Mehr lesen
